One of the biggest music and arts festivals in Buffalo, NY will be returning just before summer is up. The Beau Fleuve Music & Arts Festival will take over Buffalo Central Terminal the last weekend of August to combine culture, music, and art in one place. For the past 7 years, Beau Fleuve has been the premier place to experience the music and art culture of Buffalo and Western New York giving artists a place to showcase their talent to a crowd of people from all across the globe. The event will feature musical performances, art installations, a vendor marketplace, and food trucks.
Created in 2017 by Buffalo native Lindsey Taylor, the focus of the Beau Fleuve brand is to "Build bridges in the community through the arts." Taylor has been curating events and building businesses since the age of 19 as a Business Major at Buffalo State College, now Buffalo State University. He is a well-known real estate agent and founder or creator of many successful brands like Ballin For A Cause, Queen City Classic Basketball League, and G.O.A.L.S Premier Cup. Aside from running his businesses, Taylor also serves as the football and basketball coach at a local high school. His dedication to the youth and building his community is at the forefront of his work. This is apparent through the community partnerships that he's fostered throughout the years. The Beau Fleuve brand hosts community events year-round for kids and adults of all ages including musical showcases, community cleanups, charity events, parties, and art initiatives. Internships are often available for high school and college students to learn all aspects of brand building like marketing, event planning, social media, and more.
The Beau Fleuve Music & Arts Festival attracts artists big and small from all over the globe to perform or showcase their talents. This year's festival will feature acts from Buffalo, Rochester, New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, New Orleans, and more. What's unique about this festival is the broad range of music that you will hear on display. From hip-hop, to rock, pop, Latin, gospel, and even instrumental, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. National recording artists like Jae Skeese, Billie Esco, A.I. The Anomaly, and Venzella Joy, drummer for Beyonce and Ari Lennox have all graced the stages of the Beau Fleuve Music and Arts Festival. This year's lineup will include superstars like Che Noir, American Idol contestant Matt Wilson, NYC radio personality DJ Ted Smooth and Hip Hop Legend Mannie Fresh.
The jam-packed weekend festival begins on Thursday, August 24th with the "Laugh A Lil" Comedy show featuring comedian Spank Horton, followed by a VIP Reception on Friday night. The annual Softball Classic will take place Saturday followed by the music festival all day Sunday! Ticket prices start as low as $20 and you can find more information on the Beau Fleuve website.
